Our mission is to meet the philanthropic goals of the residents of the Cape Royal Community. It is our intent to serve as the channel for the generosity of our residents and those we partner with in the Lee County area. We do this by focusing our financial grants to local humanitarian organizations and to the educational goals of Lee County students.
We make a living by what we get;
we make a life by what we give."
The Cape Royal Community Foundation (CRCF), Inc. was founded in 2002 to meet the charitable intentions of the residents of Cape Royal. It is a non-profit organization formed under Florida law and a federally approved 501(c)(3). CRCF has no paid employees or board members and is a volunteer-based organization with minimal overhead.
The ultimate goal of the CRCF is to make a larger impact on smaller local causes and to blend the wishes of donors through flexible, continuous and targeted giving. Focusing primarily on education and healthcare, the efforts of the CRCF focus on four major programs:
- Scholarship Golf Tournament
- Disabled Veterans Golf Program
We encourage you to explore our website to learn more about each of these programs. The dedication, efforts and generosity of many community members and local businesses have contributed to the growth and success of the Foundation. Please feel free to volunteer, participate or contribute to any of the fundraising events that are detailed on this website. We are sure that you will find the work of the CRCF as heart-warming and rewarding as we do.
